On A Journey To The Unknown

A Little Too Late
~ By Sue ~

There was a time I might have gone back
He let too many months go by
Not even a phone call did I recieve
Now, all of a sudden, he is calling me
I haven't forgotten his uncaring ways
To tell you the truth, I don't think I ever will
Why should I give him a chance to hurt me again
The way he did once before
It is better if I stand on my own
And get my own life straightened out
He would only hinder me from succeeding
My focus has changed
I have a goal  to fulfill
He should have cared when I was there

Dear, your last line
says it all.
Do what you HAVE to do.
Go where your HEART leads you.

It's his loss Sue, and now he is realizing it. Kick him to the curb! You're doing better than you know! hugs, Chris
