Trickles of life flow through the mind
Bits and pieces of what we did find
From earliest memories to just yesterday
They all are there, where we found our way

Some we could control, some we could not
The key is to handle of what is our lot
What is past is only to teach
Of how we respond is certainly in reach

No time to cry, for there are many worse off
Hold the banner of peace to blue skies aloft
The sun will come out of darkness of night
To shimmer your path with soft golden light

For today is the start of the rest of your life
Why should you fight a mind in strife
Let the good you have done take over the flow
And dam the bad till it is far below

In our imperfection, give yourself a chance
And smile in the mirror when you give the glance
For what we are is what we can be
Walking in strength is the way to be free

Missing you..and our talks

I haven't been around here much lately.
Lovely work that gives me hope. This is why I like reading you.

Dear John,
IF YOU'RE TIRED OF PRETENDING..
THEN WHY DID YOU GO BACK INTO HIDING?

Dear Logan..it is SO good ro read you here today.
Your wise words bring comfort, nods, and smiles.
I'll gather sticks if you stay a little longer.
The nights are getting chilly as we gather round the fire.
And, it sure would be good to hear more tales from you.

Today wasn't so good....maybe we could try that life starting thing over again tomorrow?
