“OF THE DARKNESS”

Once I asked if you would
meet me behind the
moon, to gaze at the stars
as they kissed in
delicate harmony
while we sat in shadows night…

It still reminds me of you,
and when softness was
of your lips as
they caressed mine, and
hair of silk, as it
flowed and touched
upon my being…

I gazed of the darkness,
and found your eyes
piercing into mine with the
delicacy that is you,
and my heart skipped
a beat and then started
in rhyme with yours…
