I know I share alot of personal things, but it's not for pity or for attention. It's for the strength of my healing and especially lately it seems as if that's where my writes are coming from.So if it's sad for you, don't read it because it's not my intention to make you sad, but just to share with you who I am.

One day I was brought into this world
My parents thought I was a precious little girl
As the years seemed to pass on
It seemed as if something had gone wrong
For my parents would fight day after day
And argue in the most terrible way
Then the day came, when my father left
And didn't look back, not even a regret
My mom tried to raise us the best that she could
But so many times she never understood
From such a young age, I had to be grown
And learn all of the things, I was expected to know
I raised my two brothers as if they were my own
I took care of the schoolwork, the clothes, and the home
Then there were the men that came into my mother's life
Causing so many problems and so many strifes
She didn't know how I laid in my room each night
Trying so hard, the tears it seemed I couldn't fight
I became a woman at the age of eight
My heart filled with so much anger and so much hate
My childhood thrown out the backdoor
For I didn't need it, I had so much to care for
My brother's became my life to live for
Because it seemed as if there were nothing more

my thoughts of you are within,,

from adversity... comes strength...

the story not so different than many on here..or many you meet everyday.. but it is what we learn to do with the adversity that makes us different...

seems you embraced the resonsibilities and now matter how much it might have and may still be a source of pain for you.. continued to live the way you thought life should be..

nicely done...

Your life is reason enough to live as it is very specific and defined...there is great purpose in your being you, the lives you will touch, but most of all the journey you decide to chose....

This poem was very good, please keep writing

angelblueyes - keep writing it, as it helps to get it out. I've done it, so I know it works, it may take a little time, but it works...

As you rise above the pain and sorrows,
The sun will shine on your tomorrows.

You have gained in strength and wisdom from all of your trials. Each day is a new page on which to write new experiences!

Love & healing Light,
Linda

Crystal, this really touched me. Yes, it made me sad that a precious child had to go through these pains that no child should ever have to go through........but also, I rejoice that you came through these trials and tribulations with such a positive and compassionate outlook on life.

Crystal, it's so hard to understand the why of certain circumstances in life. I do know, though, that when we've been through things, we have greater compassion for those around us who are going through similar situations.

Thank you, sweet friend, for sharing your heart with us. I know that it takes a lot to write of such personal happenings in our lives. But, when we do, it does help.

Heart hugs to you, sweet lady
