As usual, my milestone posts are written for a certain special Wizard... because he adds such Passionate Poetic Peace to my life of chaos - mercilessly, of course...

ommencing from the Centre Square
With double words combined,
To some it may resound gey quare
Such mind games intertwined…

oned verbiage as tenon joined
Vernacular engird
Syntax succinct and nettly foined
To coin another word.

mbarked upon a fanwort leave
A googol in the tray,
What’s hiding up a nan-word sleeve?
A frugal triple play…

ubtotalings four turns about
Then played ahead peruked
‘Tis fun this glogg of verbal bout
But propaner’s rebuked

uch Inspiration is true bane,
Cozened but mereview smidge.
Perhaps two fuds with Scrabbled brain,
But neither gives a fidge.

Beware reseeker GypsiNess –
She’s ready for a game of... guess!

ROFL....
some how...me thinks it only matters that the Wiz knows what those words mean.

I bet when you two wise ones play Scrabble its a "take no prisoners" kind of game. LOL

Clever and creative way to celebrate your landmark post poetess Nan!

Congrats and kudos for all that you do here so quietly and constantly behind the scenes.

I think the game of Scrabble was made for you Nan!

Congratulations on passing the 20,000 mark. Without you, these forums would not exist - a true fact - so I am truly grateful for that! Thank you for all you've done since they opened. You've touched so many people here that it's hard to imagine PiP without NaN!!

Chuckle.

The most interesting thing is, in spite of the sesquipedalians and neologisms (mereview, indeed!), Nan still managed to maintain an almost perfect iambic meter.

You know what I think?  Unscramble this you two, and this is what I think.   Here's a little hint - more than one word.
C Y H E O U B H O A T T

Nan, what a very clever way to commemorate your milestone, as only YOU could do of course!  However, I am still looking in the dictionary for those word, but could be American spelling     as you guys spell everything weird down there!

Wait a second!  Ever notice how some people call things "just about perfect", when they have yet to produce a perfect poem using their scrabble words as far as I can see?  So, how's about it Ron, what words did you dream up when you played, as I can see the Gypsy sure created some wing-dingers!

Nan, I think you already know how much I love this place.....and I know that you are a very important part, right there with The Wizard. Although you are ususally in the background, I have found that you are never very far away. Always there whenever someone needs you...ready and willing to give your help. I sincerely thank you for all you do to keep "our home" running so smoothly.

I congratulate you on 20,000 posts, too, and look forward to the next 20,000.
Hugs, sweet lady   (& one for Ron, too)

Congratulations on a number that ends in a lot of zeroes, Nan!  Wow, that's a lot of zeroes!

Seriously, though... I love your upbeat stuff, so naturally I loved reading this.  Lots of words I admit I uh, didn't really know, but I still think I could handle you at scrabble.  My grandmother and I have a policy that whenever I go out there, she breaks out the scrabble board, because we're the "only two people in [her] entire lineage who appreciate a good game of scrabble."

I only have experience playing against her but I think I'm pretty good.  That'll have to be one of the first things you and I do when I meet you face-to-face.  Deal?

Thanks for the smiles, Nanner...
