Out of everything
you gave me

music
became
words to sound

and I
laid thick hair
to cheek
upon pillow

thinking
only dreams
sounded like this

Out of all the things
you took
and take

your gift
of press play
addiction

I will never forget
was because
you loved me in them

once
and again

Thankyou.

Instant karma's gonna get you.

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, I love the metaphor you used, sweet friend, soooooooo cute, it had me picturing a little girl who heard a cute pop song on the radio and recorded it on a cassette tape, then played it over and over smiling each time! (kiss on cheek) May you forever fall in love all over again like this, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Gemma, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

This is pretty but it sounds too easy.
How many times can you press play
before the heart shuts down??

However grateful it is~

Music has so much power over us! It vividly brings memories back--some good and some not so good.
When you think you are finally over someone and then that certain song comes on the radio, the floodgates open and you come crumbling down like the Walls of Jericho. When my wasband and I first split, I would play our songs over and over again. I definitely was a "Push Play Addict"--in other words--a masochist!

Music speaks so many different ways to us and your words paint the pictures of so many thoughts and words.
