Not the softest hand
whilst counting heads

I believe I was
another easy number
that was difficult to count

For every length and end
you think belongs upon this head
there are a thousand more
not added

and twice that, broken

Did you see any faces
you want to forget?

'Tales of painful love'

Oh you said it would not become
an excuse

little did I know

my own tale

is my excuse to become faceless
antisocial
gripping every tear
begging them back

fearing when last salt wound falls

I really will be empty

Fall in love easy

but you never fall out
with such grace do you

do you?

Instant karma's gonna get you.

No Gemma, you never fall out nearly as
painlessly as you fall in.  Wisdom
sometimes carries a heavy burden and toll.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Gemma, this is so very heartfelt, sweet friend, it never is easy to give up love as love should be meant to keep everything together forever! (sad sigh) This is honest and true, sweet friend, I send angel hugs your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Gemma, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Great thoughts, love seems to come easy, but to when love hurts or leaves it is hard.

maybe you will be empty when that last bit of saltwater falls.... but prehaps empty of the bad stuff, not all emotion.

well done. fragmented like a broken heart. i dig it.

through the ravages of sleeplessness lies the comfort of the night

No, never......but if you're lucky in the truest sense, you never fall out at all.

gem, God, no
hardest thing I have ever done in my life
was not to fall into the embrace
but on my face
and have the courage
to dust off
attempt to fix my hair
and move on with a smile
yes, THAT smile
(the plastic one)

this one left a thorn in my side
ooh aching gemma
Beautifully though
xxoo

That's some knitty gritty poetry~

Can I have your autograph?

Oh God, Gemma...I hope I  NEVER  have to go through those pains again. Even though my Honey and I are apart a lot, I know that I have him. Goodness, I don't know what I would do without him and his love.

My friend, this one makes me feel for you more than any of yours I've read since you've been heartbroken. I really thought of how I would feel in your place in this one.
Love ya, sweet friend.

Oh how true you've worded it. What grace is losing one can you pretend. Fake empty smiles is all one can offer at this point.Good job
