IT COULD BE YOU

People who have handicaps
No different than you or I
They too, have thoughts and dreams
They too, can laugh and cry.

In many ways they are a mirror
That shows our own reflection
Of how we feel, when we face
Ridicule or rejection.

But, for the luck of the draw
"They", could be you or me
So when you meet one of "them"
Know, there's more than you can see.

Look past the part that's different
And into your own heart
Then you may understand
You're not, that far apart.

(tears fall down my cheeks) It truly makes me cry each time I see someone with a handicap and someone insulting or hurting their feelings, sweet friend, it is just the same time as racial slurs and stereotypes, they are hurtful and stupid and I pity those who fail to realize we all bleed the same color and don't ask themselves the question "How would you feel if you were living like this?" (wipes tears) May we all reach a hand out to those who are handicapped and give them love and support, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Del, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Abe,  many do not have the sensitivity to see beyond.

To see the person behind the shell,  and to
appreciate that person for who they are.

Beauty is beyond skin deep.  For there are
countless beautiful people that are very
insensitive, selfish, self-centered and
lack compassion because they are stuck on
their own beauty and are clueless of others
who often are more beautiful in many inward
ways.

Excellent write,  well done.  Thank You.

amen to that. i hope everyone reads this. it could be me, it could be you. it could be any of us. and we are blessed for understanding this, and we are blessed for being able to give our love and compassion freely and without prejudice. good insight.

and even when everything was wrong, and we were mad at the world, it was still beautiful.
