On Monday
there will be death-
roadkill
tarnishing
these streets,

I cannot wait to see
what the future brings-
lonely Tuesdays,
you stare out the window and wish you were
somewhere else

fragile
but you could
withstand
stone rain

Glass lungs closing up
shatter with the need to
inhale
exhale

it kills you
but you just don’t care,

so long as you
live to be 100,
(or live until Saturday)
die saving someone else
(when you barely know your own voice)

but then again
hurt yourself
slowly dieing
but surely
still alive
and that’s more life
that could be stopped
amidst a heartbeat

who is standing in the doorway-
strangers standing everywhere…

not afraid,
only jump at
touch

needs sound
but not from human lips

But you just don’t care.

at this rate
we’ll be dead by Friday

And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots!"

Liz: it still amazes me, and always will
how you see right into everything,
yank it out and put it down like this

fragile
but you could
withstand
stone rain

EXACTLY
Beautiful writing

(big hugggsssssss) I truly believe that everyone who helps one another, every philanthropist, has their own anguish to work with, and that is natural, and that proves we are imperfect but have to accept the sympathy and advice as that helps us grow and live! (sigh) With this circle intact, we'll all die at some rate, but not this Friday, but hundreds of Fridays away from now, this is powerful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Liz, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

My little friend, Liz...I am so glad that I know your poetry writing comes from your brain and not your heart.
Therefore, this is not the way you really feel inside. Right???

You know, little lady, you are a brilliant writer.....I just don't understand dark.
Love and hugs to you, my friend

Sweet Liz...I knew you were okay. I just wanted you to know that I care if you're okay or not.
But, you already know that, too, don't you?

And, the music? Gary loves that kind of music. I like Soft Rock, like Enya and Celine Dion and Michael Bolton. But, I love Kiss, too....and the Beatles, and Rod Stewart, and Sheryl Crowe....and on and on...

Liz, I still cannot fathom how someone so young can write with such depth of emotion.  I'd like to think that I have a way with words now, but at your age I was feeling what you are feeling, but, could never dare to match your expression. You have a gift, You kick poetic butt....I'm saving this~

this is why you are my favorite :Þ your poems hold my heart

i think that it's brainless to assume that making changes to your window's view will gain a new perspective.

no words of mine would do justice to yours....so i must just say amen
