scent
of something different
ripple
heart of water
sings
playing chimes
on hallowed ground
listening
OH
listening
to the hollows of sacred

everything
is fluid
new
fingers spread
across my spine
fanning me behind the blush
I am now
forever changed
by just the promise of your touch.

Feel
I am the palm in sway
split leaf showing shades of sky
I never knew I hid away
until I felt this shine of sun...

Miracles of pink on gray.

Let me finger feed you here
crumbs upon
the altar cloth.
Miracle of warming me.

Aching fingers wanderlust
down the keyboard high and sweet
leave me
(if you must)
leave me
in reach of just
another day.

its been so long
you forget the colors

and you realize
how thick the blanket

of cobwebs
has covered the eyes

everything turns grey
so slowly

you dont notice
till someone

rips them down
and you squint

in unbelieving

you are that hand
that blessed my eyes
