This is in memory of my daughter
who on 09/21/1997 and 34 years
old left this earth for another
heavenly place she made this
choice herself

With tears in eyes and memories
lingering in my broken heart I
write this to you my

Daughter

I remember your bubbly ways your
smiles and laughs always
cheered my heart

as your smiling eyes met mine
my heart would laugh

you always had a way of making
my darkest days brighter

you was my inspiration in life with
you in my life I was complete

now that you have left, my heart is
empty and no longer has
laughter and joy

Inspiration has left me naked my
days are dark as nights

my eyes flood with tears of sadness
where before there were tears
of gladness

all that's left are memories of you and
this I will cherish, until my time comes
to join you

You have been through so much during these past few years. Glenn, your heart is tender, but your soul and constitution are strong.
In spite of all your losses, pains and sorrows, you have been able to smile through your tears and shed your light out into the world. You are a dear man, and God--and your daughter--hear your prayers.

This was a very loving and moving write from a father to his beloved daughter. Your separation is but a temporary one...

Loving hugs,
Linda

You know, Glenn, how sorry I am for any parent that loses a child.  When you say she made the choice herself, I know it can be taken two ways.  But either way...it is an extremely sad loss.

Such a loving tribute and memorial, Q!
Without fond memories, these losses
and tragedies could render us in a
lost state. With them, we grow stronger.

She IS at peace!
She'll remain forever in your heart.
Love never dies!

Prayers and Blessings!

Glenn,

What a moving piece you have written here. I now understand your reply to my poem a lot better. I know your daughter and my friend Sarah are up in Heaven right now keeping their close eyes on us all, and will always be there to catch us when we falter. You have my thoughts.

Oh my... I'm so sorry for your loss I always find it so sad to read things like this because I, too, at only twenty-four years old have experienced the loss of a child and it is so very difficult...

Your poem was truly heart-felt and well-written...
