Here, Now, Forever

I will pay the price, but wont count the cost,
I wont understand, when loved ones are lost.
I look to the wonder sky,
and wonder when I will finally die.

There is nothing to write about today.
No flashes of feeling profound.
Nothing that clever is coming to mind,
No inspiration for me right now.

No love for this lost soul of mine today,
No smiling friends with whom to play.
Nothing to do, but work, work work,
To make dirty money for bills unpaid.

No fleeting dreams, this foul year of our lord,
More unfriendly faces and more talks of war.
No happiness greets this heart, my friend.
No point to this planet, no visible end.

..A tired eagle grows disenchanted..
..vengeful and spiteful and ready to strike..
..ready to sting you..
..ready to sting you..this foul year of our lord..

I will pay the price, but wont count the cost,
I wont understand, when loved ones are lost.
I soar up to the wonder sky,
as I wonder when I will finally die.

Indeed, what am I living for?

~..Throughout life, people come and go. Some people come back..~
