The hour was late.
I lie there so restless
and could not sleep.
The moon shone
upon me through
the opened curtains.
I rose from my bed
and walked to the desk
by my bedroom window.
I sat down and continued
to look upon luminous Luna
~ lost in the magic of
the surreal landscape,
bathed in Her silvery Light.
I felt compelled to
pick up a pen and begin
writing ~ and this is
what I wrote.
