I beg of thee, Lady of the night
Tame thy river, running wild.
Silver tears, my own shall meet
Embrace the storm, as your own child.

Aloft you lie, black velvet deep
Diamonds delve infinity.
Watchful eye, as my love doth sleep
Calm the wind, the sky; retreat.

Mother Earth, we beckon thee
Speak to Ol' Sol, may He appear.
A brand new day, a sweet release
Calm your child, ease it's fear.

As the river rages from the sky
Listen within wisp of twig to trees.
"Hushabye, my love, rest your tired mind."
As prayer brings me humbly to my knees.

I softly sing, as not to cry
My gift to you, a lullaby.

~ Just a couple of the lines I thought were amazing!

Amen to your lullaby prayer.

Wonderful!

Three candles would be a good idea with this reading:

         white

     brown    blue

white set to the north, blue to the east, brown to the west, you to the south.

Amen.

The beauty of a prayer, whispered
with the gentle of a lullaby...
and I sing it with you.

Love you much, sis...

love of power the world will know peace.

(big hugggssssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, thank God that the hurricane has weakened from a Class 5 to a Class 2, now hopefully it can diminish to a storm and all will be safe! (sigh) This is a beautiful prayer, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

well I can't answer "for them"...but I am slightly above the Maryland line and listen to their stations since I get their weather.

Ocean City MD and the beaches are getting the winds and heavy rains now but they aren't supposed to see the worst of it until around midnight or 2 a.m.

We get it here around 8 in the morning. It has been raining steady and we have strong winds. That's about all so far.

Schools were closed in MD today and  will be tomorrow here and there. By Saturday morning it should have passed us and be on its way towards Canada and Niagara Falls...if the weather predictors are correct.
It is moving faster so hopefully we don't get as much rain in so short a time as NC and VA have. In MD there are around 100,000 without electricity so far.

I hope for the best for everyone else in the path of Isabel.

My, my, my
This is as nearly as lovely as you.

No worries sweety, I'm safe at my sisters' (using her PC), Isabel has yet to make her presense fully known. But, I think that the area as a whole will bear up quite well.
It's just how high the river will rise in the next couple days that's in doubt.

You have mail

And this gift? Stellar! Truly stellar.
