Somewhat Total (Goober-Natorial) Recall California’s just a really groovy place to be Where the redwood forests share the coastline with the sea Where the towering Golden Gate can reach up toward the sky And the pace can be as easy as a piece of pie A place well known for all the different movies that it makes Where it’s people build their homes on land that sometimes shakes La La Land where everyone is looking for a deal And where people say things like, “I bet that those aren’t real.” But there’s been a wicked storm a brewing up of late Seems like in this land of sunshine things just aren’t so great People are not cheering for the big guy who’s in charge So they’re looking for a “dude” who’s really very large Now that all the leaves are brown... and all the sky is Gray Our Gov’ner Mr. Davis might be soon along his way They’re looking for a guy to say, “Your term is up, now later.” And so who else can do the job except, “The Terminator” Yes Conan The Republican is is asking us to give He’s saying things like, “Vote for me, if you still want to live.” He says that if he’s Governator that he’s gonna save us Together we just have to say, “Hasta La Vista Davis.” When asked about his lurid past so much to his surprise He said to, “Don’t believe them, they’re just making up True Lies.” He says that if he loses he wont go on the attack But who would take the bet that he won’t say that, “I’ll Be Back!” Who knows how this will all pan out and what our state will pay I’m still California Dreamin’ for that winter’s day [This message has been edited by Richy (09-18-2003 05:46 PM).] |

 (giggles in delight) I will respect others opinions, but I truly find Arnold's running for governor absolutely ridiculous and I sure hope he doesn't win, as I admire those who run with wit, charm, and love, not with glamour and glitz and huge bags of cash earned from Total Recall and Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines! (sigh) This is so wonderfully penned, sweet friend, I'm adding this to my library, now can we puhhhhleeeze get back to living a comforting and relaxing California life, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Richard, thank you for sharing!  May love and light always shine upon you! “You’ll Be Back” huh Linda? lol I sure hope so! Thanks for always having something real nice to say Linda. That really means a lot to me! A big hug back to you! Noah, it’s always nice to get one of your ever wonderful reply's. Yeah it is a real mockery isn’t it? I think that the whole idea of having a recall in the first place (except for very extreme cases, or a possible vote miscount) not only sets a bad precedent for this, or any state. But it is just another big waste of our taxpayer’s money. But what more can you say except that it’s, “politics as usual.” Well, if Arnold is elected, you know who I'd feel sorry for? The people on death row. Imagine, you're about to be executed, the governor calls, you think it's your reprieve, and you hear 'Hasta la vista, baby... Ok, so I got that from Jay Leno... lol You take good care of yourself Noah. And Thanks Again! Thanks a lot for the nice comments Magnus! And for stopping by. Yeah it really is something.
