Without you,
the road is unmarked,
uncharted territory
though internal compass
assures me of the way
my heart is emptied
of the warmth where
you once lay
I am but a spirit
an unanchored
entity doomed to walk
lonely upon this earth
No corporeal form
to hold tender the touch

I am empty
now that in your absence
there is a void
not even the space
between the lines can fill
and I map the way
in days of grey
that mixes the black of me
with the white in you
to a color denying both
but true to me

You once said I drew
like magnetic needle
pointing north
now I draw
only
blue

The Captain & Tier...
now why does that have such a good sound?

This is beautiful...
and I so glad you two danced so well...

What a beautiful collaboration.

Well done both of you, Captain and Tiers

Beautiful blend -- you two absolutely matched in this one! It's a mark of skill and a little something else, to do that.
