Saluting with misty eyes

0 posted 2003-09-18 01:28 PM

She stepped out from beneath the trees
Faerie wings in tact, senses alert,
Bathed eerily in the moon shadows
Celestial rays intoxicating her soul
She came alive in the mid of night
Laughing, flirting, kissing
Dancing in the moon shadows
Embracing the sweet intoxicatio
Tempting the Lupine God
Calling him out of his celestial palace
To join her in her moon shadows
Hopeful, prayerful, joyful
Knowing her love brings him forth
Confessing her soul upon his lips
As his celestial fingers
Run through her hair
Slowly, lovingly, he lays her down
On a bed of his moon shadows
Their souls intertwining
He smiles his love in her eyes
And as he gives her a final kiss
One last embrace he ascends on high
She awakes surrounded by moon shadows
And, gazing longingly into his eyes,
Steps back into the trees

We are all equal but we’re individually different
and able to reach the impossible if we try.

Beautiful duet you two!!
Reminded me of the Cat Stevens song Moon Shadow.
Wonderful blending of ink from two of our finest!
~Hugs & Smiles to you both, Nancy~

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

Are you certain that there were two of you writing this exquisite piece of fantasmagorical writing?
