well, a guitar weeps aloud
of voodoo chiles and little wings
stolen young you echo still
delta voice and heaven strings
in the heart of, Jimi
you still fly on

There is only one thing wrong with this... YOU BEAT ME TO IT!!!!!!!   lol
Seriously, this is a great write to the best of artists. As long as there is a teenager attempting to learn how to play a guitar and who wats to rule the universe with it, James Marshall Hendrix will never truly be dead.

We are all equal but we’re individually different
and able to reach the impossible if we try.

Ah yes...a wonderfully penned tribute, Raph.
Love this...

love of power the world will know peace.

Thanks Aenimal, for the reminder.  And this week I just put up a photograph on my bulletin board of his memorial in Seattle, so I must have unconsciously known it was about that time again. I still remember the day I heard the sad news on the radio...

Great tribute to a talent that has been
enjoyed for many years.

Thanx Raph.
