Lydia is one year old today. She does not know the tyranny of numbers. Some teacher, eye half-hung on a farmer, will start her accounting. Now there's just one of everything: one cat, that's sometimes big and grazes, one dog in hundreds of disguises, one tree repeatedly gone past, one bed, one breakfast, one howling rhapsody to celebrate every day. Myself? I regret a singularity of fate. There are no more multiples of forty eight. |

The simplicity of this is wrapped in complexity... well done, Craw. |
