Vous êtes l'étoile qui enlève ma vue.

L'eau qui me noie.

Mon amour, cela chante avant que je me repose.

love the reaction to this.."dat there sounds like french or somethin"
well i'll give it a try myself, though it's been awhile since i tackled french. here goes:

You are the star
that enlivens my (view,sight)
water that (...)
my love, the song
before i rest(or before the calm,silence)

and here's what babelfish has to say:

You are the star
which removes my sight.
The water which drowns me.
My love, that sings
before I rest

Darn, it's times like these, I wish I knew French.

This is pretty, and it trips off the tongue. Tender.
