At the top of the day he stands upon the hill.
The bright sun shines seemingly through his being
As he awaits the night.
His name is Conitius.
Born of Jerusalem he is here to battle Nocturnus and
the Gryphon King.
In the village below Royal guards line the palace walls and surround the castle.
Archers have taken post.
Meeting in the colusium they will battle each other
as the gladius soldiers watch.
There to crown the winner will be Zeuse.
Mars is in the back talking to Pluto and Saturn.
Venus and Aphrodite are arguinig over the new name
for their department store as Hercules walks by.
They fight over him often.
Neptune just designed a new kitchen appliance worth every dollar spent.
Saturn was bragging up his new line of automobiles
when scorpius mentioned something about mars being
his hero.
They all laughed from Helius's new potion.
He called it Laughing gas and decided to add an
extra touch to make helium.
Monty Python and his crew showed up and Jupiter
screamed like a school girl in love with the beatles.
It was then that I arrive with my lady.
She was an American girl with a detachable foot.
Her lesbian sister tagged along for the ride.
We had tons of fun when the Indian elephants showed up.
Before night fall there was a storm. Nocturnus hid in the basement of the colusium
while his brother Thunder Bringer stayed and sang his song.
It was called God Of Thunder. Later the rock band
called KISS did a cover of it.
Thor was happy to meet thunder Bringer.
The two shared alot.

Hello RunningWolf. How are you doing? What can I say...you have not lost your touch James. Seen any mean green frogs lately? Your poem was very interesting by the way. If you are going to use Kiss then you have to make a reference to how a Morbid Angel watches over all! ROFLMAO! Anyway I have to run my friend. It has been years since last we got to speak to one another in person...but I am glad to see something new after all this time. Your buddy - Kevin a.k.a. DarkPoetry, MidniteAngel, EvocativeVerse, DementedRadish...you pick one! LOL!

There was so much in this writing!! And I loved every word!  I can't wait for the next one...

The picture was a little scary, is that what you were going for? (I think so)...
