we are wishful realists; we are petty, pretty ghosts.
we yearn to roam uncharted depths while stranded on the coast.
we are cautious lovers; we are shaky, trembling muses.
we throw ourselves onto the fire while we try to nurse our bruises.
we are distant color; we are freakish, quirky beauties.
we pluck the strings we self-attach while we dance through daily duties.

so each night we bear out restless souls through lungs wrecked with tar, but we are who we are.

we are screeching stereos; we are tortured, condemned souls.
we demand equality from the pull of opposite poles.
we are laughing dreamers; we are strange, eternal songs.
we keep our eyes up to the sky where the emptiness belongs.
we are dying daily; we are angry, lost creators.
we have all the talent life can give but we crave something greater.

so we mark our bodies, pierce and bend, to cleanse our breathing scars, but we are who we are.

we are twilight massochists; we are living, proud pretenders.
we freezeframe moments on our walls while bleeding ourselves tender.
we are sweet sweet talkers; we are burning, trying youth.
we thumb through scenes of awkward years while pining for the truth.
we are infinite destroyers; we are pitied, weary kings.
we worry about grades and words and clothes and other meaningless things.

so we let our broken, blinding tears fill up these silent jars, but we are who we are.

we are anxious spenders; we are tragic, fearful strangers.
we cross our hearts and smile shiny while trembling with anger.
we are comely creatures; we are golden righteous friends.
we dress for successful habits while keeping with the trends.
we ar fiery angels; we are newfound refugees.
we can't forgive a gracious world that brings us to our knees.

so we shake this world to life, barefoot dancing in the stars, because we are who we are.

sometimes the beauty is easy
sometimes you don't have to try at all
sometimes you can hear the wind blow in a handshake
sometimes there's poetry wr

I have probably read this five times, up, then down, then up again...

it all makes sense...
and it sounds so much
like MY time.

God bless you.

There was one typo...you'll catch it.

We are all these, and so much more.

We have to believe in ourselves, for it will bring us peace.

I really enjoyed this...

And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots!"
