Saluting with misty eyes

0 posted 2003-09-16 12:05 PM

It was Sts John and Paul
That introduced me to the Church
With their prayers of Love Me Do
With Brother James the conversion began
I Feel Good about being a Sex machine
Ace, Gene, Peter, and Paul
Finished my education by teaching me
To Rock and Roll All night and Party Every Day
Then along came the Reverend Willy G.
Who made my conversion complete
He taught me about the Pearly Gates
About the Fandango and some Tush
My soul newly saved, I began to pray
Publicly pronouncing the Word
And bathing in the lights of Heaven
Being a prophet has taken its toll
Testifying makes you soaked with sweat
But sacrifices must be made
Giving your soul to the Electric Church

We are all equal but we’re individually different
and able to reach the impossible if we try.

(sigh) Oh Bradly, this rocks, dearest friend, this reminded me so much of the movie "Tommy" written by The Who, with that rock and roll church and Marilyn Monroe being worshipped as their God! (big hugggssssss) Keep rocking and rolling with God, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bradly, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Raph- The rock is continuing on!!! Thanks for reading.

Sue- My apologies for not bringing the Prophet Jimi on board. Thanks for the kind words.

Sunnyone- Power Up, and Rock along!!!! Thank you.

Opeth- Thanks.

Gemma- THAT is a serious idea that I am going to have to consider. Thank you.

Noah- Kind words from you are always appreciated, and being used in the same FORUM as the Who, much less the same sentance is very humbling. Thank you.

Crystal- Thanks for the kind words.

I like this poem. I thought of the band called KISS after seeing the names.
If its not about the band it would sure make KISS fans think so.

Running Wolf- This is about many of the bands and musicians that brought me into the music industry, of which KISS is one. I'm glad you liked it.
