~.~

Landing off city ride
back to the green
clicking heels ache
my feet
simple simplicity
why didn't I wear different

Crow

coat of shine
black graceful greed
stalk away
when you hear my feet
smiling at petite beak
that holds so much to dangle

I won't steal your find
if you fly me home.

~.~

Instant karma's gonna get you.

Loved this one, and especially so since there seems to be a myriad of crows and magpies in my English neighborhood!!  What a great read this one is...~S~

(sigh) I think we adjust well to understanding crows, as they too understand our tears and sorrows, just as sparrows and butterflies understand the other parts of us! (big hugggsssssss) You are a bird of many feathers, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Gemma, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

gemma - God, I adore this . . .
the image of the crow
snickering almost . . .
and this:

I won't steal your find
if you fly me home.

is perfection

Hate them I do, which belies my rural heritage..... and coyotes, who also live by stealing....both of which are fresh in me because I dreamed them last night while guarding one of my spirit treasures....but that's a different kind of animal than you've written here.....

But you make that bird seem somehow all right, almost attractive. Nicely done!
