The green woodlands.

Horse Chestnut,Oak and Silver Birch.

Poplar, Beech and Cedar,
where all the sweet birds perch.

Cherry, Apple and Plum,
covered in rich fruit so sugary, so good.

Maple,Sycamore and Elm,
with Autumn colours the cream of all the wood.

May the sun shine on you, as you walk the wild woods.

Have you seen jack-in -the green he taps his cain on the ground and signals the snowdrops it's time to grow.

such a beautiful poem, I can smell autumn, hear the leaves as they fall so quietly in the woods, what a peaceful insightful write...thank you
