Side By Side

I can feel it in the air,
the rage, the passion of containment
wishing release.
But this time I turned my thoughts
to another, side by side each adding
a smile to the day
despite the furies of tomorrow.

you are so very sweet Marge...I spent the day with my sister and will again tomorrow.

I did read her a few of my poems since she wonders what I write...she said to me...
I write too sad and should not let anyone ever make me feel that way.

As sick as she is, she is still "da boss" of me

Maureen...smiling at your sister
being "da boss" of you.

Hugs to you both...and thank you
for sharing these thoughts with us.

Thank you Q...and Vicky. Well, we are expecting that hurricane to hit us by Thursday night or Friday...should be interesting. I remember Agnes and another one the year before or after, not sure which, and they are or were comparing this one with Hazel from the 50's (I was too young to remember that one)

I just don't wish to have another flooded basement so soon after the one a week and a half ago.
~sighing~

Maureen, stay safe from the storm.
A wonderful poem, as always.
