Euclid drew lines
Showing there was order and form
In points that never touched
One or the other

I sketched lazily the not straight
Too heavily shaded for anyone but me
To see the fine edges of
The image

You looked puzzled
When I showed you
Blurred pictures perhaps
To an accurate mind that grasped
Open fingered for air
Trying to hold the essence
And make it concretely yours
Then lay it down with vaguery
And a laugh to erase any color
To my charcoaled sigh

“ Sow the Sky with colors that can be reaped”

My stare turned again to light
Reflecting in an ember glow flicker through trees
Off the bottom of leaf
To prance
Enticing in the half walled way
Of evening

And I wondered how it felt
To be touched like that
In a fire of passing brilliance
That faded
                  Yet returned

Changed by angles
And Sine

Perhaps one day
I’ll know

But for now I just draw
Shaded lines
And forget the equation always
Ends
Resolved

What's that line...something about etchings?

What you do, when you do it...
is captivate.

Now I think I know how you came to be
Cpat...and just threw in a touch
of dyslexia to throw us off...

Great lines. Yet another masterpiece.

Your charcoaled sigh. What a wonderful poem this is, Ron.

you remind me of this thing I heard today...

"say the color, not the word itself."

so in that case...
red.
though I see things that are grey black blue and yellow

and yep...I don't make much sense but it is my way of showing my appreciation

And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots!"

Ron...sometimes you just amaze me!

"My stare turned again to light
Reflecting in an ember glow flicker through trees
Off the bottom of leaf
To prance
Enticing in the half walled way
Of evening

And I wondered how it felt
To be touched like that
In a fire of passing brilliance
That faded"

I wonder too...

I'd love to  feel that kind of touch...again
you sure are writing  quite lovely lately...

You always say so much.....but those three lines...oh they say it all.

The way you move me
I walk with your shadow
With your silhouette
Leave the light on
It always comes
Back to you
