My heart beats
In anticipation
Of that moment, when it will all fall into place

Like Columbus sailing home from America
I too feel tired…but like I’ve done something worth while
I feel like I’ve found something great
3 rubies among ugly pebbles, and stones
I feel like I could be a rich man
If I could only sprout arms and hands to reach out…and take
These treasures, and run with them.
I’d quickly pocket them…and run
As fast, and then faster
Then my body can carry me…
…and I’d finally stop at the roads end
sweaty… and weary of any more travel…
I’d sit down there, where the paved road of man stops…and take the
Rubies from my breast pocket… and I’d
Set the three of them in a triangle
Around me… two of them on each side… and
One in front of me

My rubies will sprout roots… and grow
Quickly and produce…thin skinned green wombs
And a single strand of root from each rubies seed
Would reach out like a finger to me…
The rubies to my side…I’d hold hands
With…and from me they’d draw my friendship

But the rubies in front of me… she’ll reach into
My chest, and latch onto my heart… and from
Me siphon…and grow from my love…
And become a direct product of everything my
Heart desires… inside and out…

I’ll wait for 9 months…and sit perfectly still
Burning…sweating…and then freezing to
Thaw day in and day out…until from these
Green wombs are born…the three I’ll
Love most…

The womb to my left gives way in the morning
With the sun brightly burning behind it
It opens to reveal the one who I’d
Name is time… “reason” She smiles at me… and
Blink a few times to adjust to the new
Clear morning light…she’s appropriately adorned with intricately
Woven blonde hair.

At noon the womb before me gives way
With the sun behind it and opens to reveal the
One I name in time…”love” She blows a
Kiss to me, and blinks a few times to adjust to the clear afternoon sunshine…her long
Straight brown hair seems to create a
Bonnet around head, framing her beautiful face

The womb to my right…gives way in the still of
A chilly night…and opens to reveal the one
Who I’d name in time…”rest” She yawns as her
Eyes open briefly for her to greet me… and close
Again. Her face is relaxed…and
She signs to me with her eyes closed,
“I’ve time enough to see the moon and starts…”
her hair is ebony…curl yet calm…and her skin is
butterscotch in colour…flawless

In time…Rest…Love…and Reason would grow
Enough to walk…and slowly we’d walk down
The paved way of man and I’d run down to run
Away from so much…not so long ago…trying to find
Our way back to the place I had once called
Home.

And as we walked, I smiled to myself
When I realized that things…so different now…
Actually are not at all. Rest and Reason hold fast
To my right and left hands… and Love…
Love walks ahead of me…just out of reach…
And occasionally turns around to smile.

And precious it is~

'Love walks ahead of me…just out of reach…
And occasionally turns around to smile'

Such a lovely thought~
