He stood before the “Captain”
Proud, strong and straight
Dressed in his best iconitry

And said the words
That spoke dissatisfaction
With the tool he was given

And made the request
For that, which would give him
An edge on the future

The heroic plea
For a heavier burden
To ring out the past

A larger hammer

To drive home the steel
And increase the ictus
To drive himself home

"In looking Northward, I see a light"

Ed . . . this is astounding, baby
I just read of the tale and here,
you present him with the pride that
leaked from his veins.
Listening to Woody Guthrie's folk
and a "Prison Songs" right now
*smile*
A beautiful ballad indeed

Ah! This feels political to me, my friend, but as often happens, I also feel something biblical going on!

The next trial a little more challenging than the last...requiring a bigger hammer for a bigger quest..conquering self. Loved it!
