those tones again,

the dotted spotted ones
ecrus, taupe, beige and bone,

colours of cadavers
usher in the summer's fall,

and the crippled ones
that fawn on feet,

she can offer just a prayer,
as she is torn,

earth mother
and her tethered ones,

that depart now of
her giving arms,

tearfully she mourns the dawn,

destinys children passing on.............
