I have heard rumors of this day-- a toss of hands a wave of flag, white concession in the wind as though the gods applaud-- "I'll have no more of this" I say. Let the vultures feast... |

On broil of this field bathed in sun now red as the blood spilled not just today but in years past eons gone Sol laughed at sweat dripping from those who in an anticapted frenzy of bravado would lie family aside senses astride rail and die dead mens eyes stare unblinking only those who survive find tears |

I don't expect I'll live to see the day. And I aim to be an old man. All the pieces still can make a whole. Besides a little patch will look good on you. And I will always wish you peace... If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

sigh. a. It's hormones. b. It's the moon. c. It's the moon AND mercury. d. It's the moon, mercury AND mars. e. clinically depressed f. All of the above smile? I don't know which I enjoyed more!--the poem or your reply to the Captain. For me it is the moon, Mercury & Mars! As far as Mercury goes, it is retrograde until the 20th! Hang in there! I'm trying to! lol  EA |
