Webshots Photo

~*~
The tiny little frog I saw
Clinging onto the window screen
Was looking with such total awe
The tiny little frog I saw
Holding on with his little claw
Looking at me with screen between
The tiny little frog I saw

~*~ ~*~
When someone sad is looking in
When they feel they are so left out
Wondering if they'll ever win
When someone sad is looking in
At faces with a too smug grin
They want at them to scream and shout
When someone sad is looking in
When they feel they are so left out
~*~ ~*~

While clinging there upon the screen
The little frog got very still
Looking scared with the screen between
While clinging there upon the screen
I thought I heard a little scream
So shrill he made me have a chill
While clinging there upon the screen
The little frog got very still
~*~

Smiling...Ethel, I'm glad to know
I'm not the only one who thinks
other species have the ability to
have thought, and feelings...

well done!

Yeah, Karilea, I think about how the little animals must feel when they see us humans walking around. They probably feel like we're giants.
Thanks, lady

I'm with you on believing that all creatures deserve respect...they have finally proved scientifically that even fish feel pain.  So, this poem is near to my heart, and beautifully written, Ethel...~S~

Sunny, I think that all of God's creatures have feelings. If people would look at their eyes, some may not be so cruel to animals. I'm glad that you liked my poem. Thanks.
Hugs to you,
Ethel

Bravo!
Well done Ethel.. well done indeed.

I happen to like frogs...so the whole of the piece appeals to me on several levels.
Thanks for taking the challenge!

(big hugggssssss) Oh Ethel, I believe every one of God's creations has feelings and has a heart and so I too feel it is just cruel to be mean to animals! (wipes tears) When I was in elementary school and they wanted me and the class to disect frogs, I refused to because I love frogs and they know how to feel just like we do and we should just leave them alone and let them live with their families in their habitats and free them from those laboratories with the mice! (sad sigh) That is also why I will never support any war, even if the President wants it, because everyone in the world is a son and daughter of the Holy Spirit or Spirits they believe in and thus we should treat each other as brothers and sisters, and I will not let any of my family get killed! (wipes tears) God Bless You, sweet friend, it is wonderful, loving, and sensitive people like you I admire most and loving people like you deserve extra special angel hugs, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Ethel...this is priceless!
The picture is adorable (yes..I called the
frog 'adorable'..lol), and the poem is just
too cute...gave me a smile.  I'm such a lover
of animals of all kinds that this one just
struck me...I just love that little guy!
Hugs to you, sweet lady,

Had a critter-on-the-screen idea myself but I think it would have paled by comparison.
Love the little frogs too.
