Mesmerized

He stands upon a windy knoll
Putting out the ash and coal
The last of fires burning light
To watch the ending of the night

Yet still he sees the misty dew
Blurring slowly from his view
Her lovely elegance of grace
Slowly vanishing into space.

He cannot hold her effigy
This syzygy of energy
He cannot hold this wile of seem
Nor can he bring to life this dream

He waves his hand a bleary bye
And heaves his heart a weary sigh
And on his lid a tears veneer
As she slowly disappears

Each dark he dreams a fire bright
To seem her back to him each night

You know why I call you Sy?  'Cause you make me ... sigh ... with writings like this.

I think this may be my favorite piece of yours yet, Sy. What a beautifully flowing, mystic piece .... wonderful phrasing throughout. Just lovely!

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

Well I am mesmerized, too, by the beauty of this write of night. Syzygy, the word of the day...  ~K~

Good Morning, Mr. T.!

If he were to place a piece of Morganite (Pink Beryl) in the palm of his left hand--if he is right-handed--before falling to sleep, he will attract her love and will be able to keep it. Morganite opens the heart to receive unconditional love and healing.

It is a powerful stone for manifesting love.

Sweet dreams...

...Now, somewhere in the Mists of Seems
might one search to find Their Dreams;
When all appears lost and shadows dim,
look, see, shhh...envision Her & Him....

For Sy, and all he sees...

Ok...I am moth giddy--- now you take cool to new heights with these lines...just look at the word play wrapped in rhymes and wit of the way you weave the words.
He cannot hold her effigy
This syzygy of energy

He waves his hand a bleary bye
And heaves his heart a weary sigh

And on his lid a tears veneer

=================

could those couplets be any more cool and clever?

a tears veneer

oh yes...you are too cool for school

Each dark he dreams a fire bright
To seem her back to him each night

========================

and ya know this moth is flying and sighing in your pretty blue flame of those lines.

*ww*

I know the pull of mesmerize
How just one sight captures our eyes
I know it when I see your name
Succumb to draw without a shame
Knowing I will find again
Treasures waiting from your pen.
