I hold you in
   this heart so worn

  beaten, tattered
     weathered and torn

    It once had life
   this heart I mourn

      laughter and tears
     and vows so sworn

  Ill, it's fallen
     your flower's thorn

    and now awaits
       to be reborn

Into darkness
  where you're adorn

     fallen I have ...
       in darkness scorn

Fear is a blindness, heart is the cure.   -   C. Belville 02

ME~

The way you move me
I walk with your shadow
With your silhouette
Leave the light on
It always comes
Back to you

"I hold you in
   this heart so worn"

All that matters is that they're held in the heart.  That means so much. If they look down on your heart, they're not worthy. Who's heart hasn't been through a few wars?  Who doesn't have scars?

sorry I went off there. (coulda kept going)  I like that line and this poem very much.

Craig, beautiful rhyme, it felt quite as If i was stepping back in time reading it, to times of castles and kings and queens.

breathtaking, you get better n better. It's nice to see you on these pages a little more often.

Instant karma's gonna get you.

I really loved it and  I am saving it..

Craig, I have been right in this space, and somehow escaped. You will too. Beautifully written.

Q - I try to make my words to feel ...
    after all, isn't that poetry?

Dix - I am right behind you ... you lead!!
          (its awful dark out there)

Lauren - None of us like to look at ourselves
         in such light ...
                ... yet we do exsist.
               (peace 2u2)

Eecho - It does matter "what" is held
but it eases knowing it is accepted.

        Scars only toughen the outside,
        we remain the same inside.

Maureen - Sad for many ... but your smile
always warms my lips to do the same!

Gemma - Time is an element of my writing ...

Perhaps a stroll through the courtyard later,
my queen ... we could talk to the stars!

Sue - Yes, hope developes faith, and faith heals.

KC - ... and I, in return,
summer the nights that shall fall,
         remembering Love.

Sandra - Glad to hear you found some of that missing magic ...

         Hold tight, sweet Moon!!!

Shara - Many the heart are sad from time to time ...
        a sign of REAL emotions.

My, my ... my Michele

something seems to have struck a cord?

Want to spread a little cheer?
How about a new photo for your profile?
(one that might stay awhile, you change like the seasons)

Thank one, and all, for the read and comments.
