I Can Believe

Honey, you've always been so nice to me.
A friendship that lasted four years
and still growing stronger.
We've gone through so many things together.
Even losing our friendship for
brief periods of time.
But we've always found our way back to
each other and today we're doing fine.
I can always trust your judgement.
You speak the truth to me.
When other women tell me I'm good looking
I think they're just flattering me.
But when you tell me I'm handsome,
your words, I can believe.

I had that experience a couple of days ago --but with someone who is a new friend. Just out of the blue, for no reason in particular and no possible ulterior motive, they said the word handsome to me.... and darn if I didn't feel it!

Isn't it grand to have such a woman like this! I am in love with the same kind of woman, even though she doesn't know it
but I do know she posts her poems on here. Now I can see why.

Don't loose this one, women like this are a rare find.

It feels good to have someone we can trust/believe...my husband tells me I'm beautiful...I tell him he's crazy...lol but coming from him, it makes me feel as though, maybe, just maybe he's right; There's something beautiful about me..
