~**~
Though we must abide to rules
in this life we walk
There is room for us to be ourselves
in the ways we act and talk

For we are all individuals
with gifts and talents all our own
Not everyone does things the same
though to be in molds some are prone

I have always liked to be a little different
with my own kind of flair
To have my own individuality
being careful of it to take care

We were all made differently
with our own way we react and do
We should always be proud of who we are
for I am me and you are you

Some days I am not so sure about me....
then again,  it's all I've got to go on!

Loved the sentiment here Ethel~  Thanks~

Love the message here. If all could listen we might all learn to take each other for who and what we are, instead of trying to change them.

(smiles) Oh Ethel, I couldn't agree with you more, sweet friend, though it is best we accept some of the rules so there is no anarchy, I also believe you have to stand up for yourself and show your true colors and let them shine and stand up when you see something that is unfair or corrupt and fight with your heart! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Amen to this, Ethel...and you've said it beautifully.

The rhyme and theme are beautifully expressed here

This is a wonderful sentiment and well written. I really enjoyed it. I've been browsing through the poetry that has been posted here for the last 5 days...and this one really spoke. So much so that I needed to post a reply to it. I myself may be new to this forum...but not to the written word. Your rhymes touched me. Thank-you so very much.
