On nights
That like this the moon is full
And there are splinters of light
That lick the tops of already wet waves
As they grace fluid skin
An ivory hue

I am reminded of sand shored boats
Lined in fading light
Framing us

A skeleton of ribs
Enclosing another shade of grey

Come midnight and the moon will find her gown
Of slight filmy cloud
To cover her nakedness
As she journeys towards morning
Satiated perhaps in an early tryst
With the lovers who
Like we would have
Joined the touch of flesh
To bared will
And closed their eyes
To the faults of day

Caress me lady of the sky
That I might remember then
That I might sigh again
Before you robe yourself and hide
Those things I dared not touch

Back when I
Was alive in you….

Wane now
For in my heart I know
There was a time
the nape of your light was mine
and you smiled

Fair on my Fall

CPat~
Were I to read nothing else this day, my poetic thirst would be thoroughly quenched with this beautiful inking from your pen~

Senses awakened in total awe at this piece, my friend~

When was the last time you felt this high,
you are the best I've ever felt.
Its so wrong not to be with you
Its getting harder to stay away.
