Winding down winds
of time travel,
the transition is about
to be performed
the greatest miracle
of the physical universe.

Images of a lifetime
coming to a close
final act of your
own production,
awaiting applause
of the heavens.

Final serenity of sounds
merging beauty of living
majesty recording of full life,
music of contentment
harmony within the instruments
of your mind’s final thoughts.

Heart beats of tears
will bless your journey
as those you love
release you of your chains
wishing you adieu.

Bright light of eternity
souls of those departed
welcoming you home,
glory of the after life.
