where the wild flowers grow

I aim
for the tail
of a mermaid..
So I can
swim the
yonder seas.

Far away,
from the
dry land..
From the
crying children,
and the
invisible man.

How you
kiss
with no lips,
speak
with no
words..
You torture,
with
no side of heaven.

I see no arms
that hold me,
I still
feel their warmth
in my bed..
How cruel it to be
that I may not
watch you sleep?

That I wept
with
fear,
I couldn't see
you there..

I'll glide
past
ghostly ships,
smile as
bubbles rise
by my lip..

As some say silence
is
a free fall
down a row of
purgatory,
it shifts
in the dawn.

So shall my tail
slither
over water and
underneath..
so I shall
be
buried in
what I
remembered you as..

Kaoru...I'm liking this.  Very well done.

Meg, I must say . . . as I have before
I admire your work immensely
the ease with with your words
fall from this page onto my desk,
pooling . . . taking form and jumping
into my heart . . . this is absolutley beautiful

nice work..and the feelings well conveyed.. artistry..and angst...

as is usually the case..I am impressed.. with the depths..and the artistry
