There is music softly in the sways
Hypnotic melody in a frothy water plays
We stand as spheres, clothed in moonlight
And bodies brush bring stars to light

This close to see the endless spell
That keeps attuned where wonders dwell
The surf pulls back the last of doubt
In silver send to swirl about

That held inside so long before
Without a way to say of more
But here with you a dance begun
Beneath the harvest moon as one

Together glows illumined souls
Entranced in waltz the surf beholds
A right and left of soft and sweet
In dance together each heartbeat

ThisDiamond...Very beautiful and well-rhymed poem of love. I love the imagery of the moonlit beach and two lovers, hand in hand, beneath the Moon at the edge of the Sea. ***Ivy Rose

Your words swayed and undulated across this sea of blue--and I found myself doing the same...

Aye, 'tis time for the harvest moon on high
to lend to autumn a late summer's sigh
to feel the lace of graceful web
before the season lays a white bed...

Now look at you.  Inspiring me...
You do such wonderful things!

Seems I wasn't the only one who enjoys a
stroll on the beach.  Lovely words K.
Very nicely done.
