Sometimes it may seem my mind will wander
And on the surface all is calm, a center stillness, precious psalm
The waters writhe between that ponder

And I could talk of illusion, for I live my dreams
Yet logic is the driving force that fuels my steps, not what the wishing seems

Call it chapters, call it destiny, but call it truth the same
For I have always known my purpose on this earth, the basis of my own worth
As failure never spoke my name

And I could paint with words a picture of pure joy
As clearly in my mind, the springs unwind and geyser in unstoppable deploy

To smile at myself, the fear I feel, the strength I've known
Calm seas never made a savvy sailor, the tattered parts to tailor
Forthcoming in the birth of change, fingers nimble while I sow

And I could predicate this clause, with definition
A priestess to the art of self-control, insecure within this world of stark tradition

But you deserve the candy apple autumn days, all sugar glaze
So sweet to draw the bees, in quivering bare knees, the flower of a man that sees
But if I spoke n'er a sound, you would know this fire water found still sleeping in the blaze

Wuh-wuh Wow!

Like this,  and it speaks so well of you.

Nicely done Charlotte,  weave another web
or two for the succulent morsels...
