“WHERE DO I PONDER”
~~~~
A meadow blossoms in its tranquil serenity,
petals of wild flowers give of their fragrance,
scents soft flow on breezes of morning’s light,
rainbows are alive with arresting elegance …
Yet I see but a mist before me in my mind,
not more than a shadow you show of yourself,
I gaze into deepness as you float on by,
searching of what once was into myself…
Romance was of your whispers to dream of,
tenderness to share was bareness on satin,
eyes to dance slowly in early glow of day,
words said with passion to not be forgotten…
I believe in remembrance of days before,
to love but a rose in all of memories drawn,
one heart beat once, yet it became of two,
where do I ponder have all the flowers gone…
Jesus, Bill
this is so hauntingly beautiful
Yet I see but a mist before me in my mind,
not more than a shadow you show of yourself,
I gaze into deepness as you float on by,
searching of what once was into myself…
I believe in remembrance of days before,
to love but a rose in all of memories drawn,
one heart beat once, yet it became of two,
where do I ponder have all the flowers gone
amazing writing . . . truly
(smiles) This is hauntingly beautiful, sweet friend, all the flowers temporarily wither each year but if love is true, the bulbs will always be sprouting beneath the ground! May love and light always shine upon you!
