You had never lived like this before,
Life had always demanded so much more,
Free of will and sharp of wit,
Now you held the taste for it.

Sometimes you asked unusual things,
Like why you're alive and why the crow sings,
Why in the darkness you felt so alive,
Why at this time should you thrive.

Heaven was where you had never lived before,
Until you had entered through death's door,
You won't regret what you have seen,
Please dont regret what you have been.

We should never regret what we've been, what we've done. That's what life is.
