I have already capsized . . .
this ship, sinking
into the emerald
sea salt savored bliss

Shall I swim towards the shore
daring the waves to dance?
Or float forevermore
upon happenstance?

The maelstrom churning
tides turning
time
back
and
forth
tossing me about

A hurricane to the sea
circle of commonality
rising
rising
currents seize
this ship . . .

and I sink
drifting
down
down
down
to sweet release

(smiles) Oh Sue, this reminded me so much of that new Dido song "White Flag" which I love so much:

"I will go down with this ship,
And I won't put my hands up and surrender
There will be no white flag above my door,
I'm in love, and will always be..."

(sigh) This is just beautiful, sweet friend, I love the sweet confluence of these drifting words, yay, God Bless You, I just love your imagery, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

...In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there...

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

"maelstrom"???
"happenstance"???
"commonality"??
Did you get hit with a dictionary??
Seriously, Sue, this is yet another fine example otf your great ability to put words together.
This is thoroughly enjoyed

There was a song when I was younger called, "The Sea Of Love", and it is only too bad you can't sing this as the idea, words, and feelings in this poem are beautiful.  Just beautiful!

And it's been said that "love" makes for awful poetry...

Could this be the exeption, or have "they" never felt?

Susie? Isle of view in this

Well, I'm not sure what happened here.
I read this earlier, and thought I had replied,
but..not seeing my name, so here I go again...

I just love this, Sue...it's beautiful in so many ways.

Smiling at you, once again...*smile*
I'm just so happy for you...
