Come chase the dragon with me tonight,
we'll fly
through this dark and rainy Andalusian night
fearing no hand,
racing in the mind storms of the mildly disenchanted
across the open fields
where the muddy roads once slanted to the sun;
we can be no more or less than completely free.
I'll race you
to the straits of Gibralter stripping down into the sea
and on to Cape Saint Vincent
where we'll eat partridge and almond soup,
I'll steal horses and wine
and soft breasted brown-eyed women for us both.
I think perhaps
that little fellow with the pipe was right,
I could believe,
though you and I have run this race before,
we are invisible tonight.

I was getting ready to go to bed and saw this...

So now before I sleep I am going to ask that I may join you for an astral trip...

Show me the sights you speak of.

night...

Invisibility about magnificent moors... quite conducive to eventide's intrigue...

The 'mildly disenchanted'--I love that! This is a great vision, I can feel the rush.

LOL@Sy's reply.
I love this..may I come along for the ride?
But, I'll skip the soft breasted brown-eyed woman.
