to the Capt

I tried to tiptoe
quietly...
unseen
unheard
unobtrusively

enjoying the feel

vicariously

wishing
to stroll
within
a dream state
so familiar

I mistook it
for my own.

Then it happened.

Before I was ready
I awoke.

POOF.

Easy come
easy go.

I'm tired of my dream sequence.

May I step into yours
for one night?

He does have a way
of slipping in
those poems,
doesn't he?

It's not hard to mistake a universal memory for ones own...

Take this one for example

"Where lovers find only true happiness
meet me somewhere in my dreams"..old folk song.
If we could only understand the process of our dreams, we might understand ourselves.
Well done.  KJ

The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Sweetie...if you step into my dream for a night....I'd be in big trouble.....you'd get pregnant, I'd be stuck with child support, you could do all kinds of things for me and I would try to do the same for you?....In fact, after just reading this...you may be making love to me all night anyhow?....(I know...in my dreams).....lovely write gal...
