Saluting with misty eyes

I sit here alone
Staring staring staring
At the page in front of me
It is whitedeviod of color
No ink to stain its purity
Thoughts not coming
I try my best to work
Yet no words flow from my pen
I gaze longingly at the white
Until the focus is gone
As I sit in my pain I realize
The blank in front of me
The creation unfulfilled
Is simply G-d in His loving way
Teaching me how hard
It is to be
Him
**************************************

Since I have been accused by some on here before, I will finish this by saying that I am not comparing myself to Him. I am but a lowly poet facing the blank page every day. And I truly believe that creating "life" out of nothingness is His way of letting us know that it isn't easy to be him.

Enjoyed the write. AND? I've never had any problems with your words.
(or the one's I've thought were God's, for that matter.)

Ringo, I am humbled to have inspired a writer like you. Isn't it funny how some days the words just flow, you want to post as many as you can before the padlock goes on. Then there are those days when we just end up with Blank Paper. Thanks for sharing.

Ringo, I think this is a very wonderful poem with a humble and tender feeling about it. I also have never had any trouble with your words.
Thanks for sharing these with us here.

Wow...this was amazing... I haven't been coming here very long, but I have really liked all the writes I have read by you. I hope I haven't been construed as one of these you speak of I just know I can relate to this and I hate it when I can't get anything to come out on paper. The one I submitted a few mins. ago shows how much I hate it. I had to force one out of boredommmmmmmmmmmm...ughhhhhhhhh... I loved the way you compared the creator to creating...it must be VERY hard to be Him! This was amazing, and this was when you were having a problem creating? WOW!

Midnite Sun- Thenk you for the kind words... The flack I got was in response to a posting I did quite sometime ago where I made a comparison of human to G-d.

Amature- It's hard to be inspired by an average writer. Thank you for the inspiration.

Ethyl- Thank you. And no, it wasn't anyone who responded that gave me grief.

Rose- You are a very talented writer, and I enjoy your words very much. It does my poor heart good to hear that you enjoy my writing. Thank you.
