Today
longs for touch
infinite as skin
upon bone
kissing inches
of sparks
beneath contours
that feel
for blood
that screams
to be warmed
fingers to entwine
prints
upon the marks
left
by he
who let go

Instant karma's gonna get you.

you're welcome

you are far too young and far too pretty to pine too long for someone who did not appreciate what he had.....

your poem prompted this... off the top of head.. perhaps my own version of your sad..

I would be touched
Have fingers of warm
String along my spine
Exciting thoughts
That maybe
Maybe
You’ll share

How long it seems
Since the caress
Of a hug
Or brushed cheek
Told me
You care

Snuggle me tight
Or drape a loose arm
That I might know
There was more than
This
Alone…

I would be touched
But don’t know how

Teach me the language
Of Braille
But let me start now
By reading your
Lips

Oh, my, Dear Gem Drops! You are v-e-r-y hungry! I suggest you eat some strawberry shortcake--it might make you feel so much better--and it won't hurt your feelings. It may land on your hips but you can work it off better than you can work off a man that's done you wrong!

Sending you lots of love--and some strawberry shortcake! I'm on my way! I should be in England in a few minutes. Look for the blue streak in the sky!

Gem, this seems to stray from your normal ways of writing.. or not.. I'm not sure, but the way you messaged this is different..

It's still extremely good, I'm always drawn into the words you use.. the descriptions..

Love the new picture, by the way. <3

Gemma, Gemma, Gemma....it looks like you've inspired more that one of us. LOL
I sure am having a bunch of thoughts of my Gary goiung through my mind.....of course, there'll probably be a poem brewing soon. I don't think I've wrote a poem lately just about his touch. But, what the heck...I'll write another one. I've got a lot of memories mixed in with fantasies that I can write about. ahahahaha!!

I really liked this one, my little friend. Can you tell?  LOL
Hugs to you, my friend
Ethel

(pssstttt!!! there will be touch again...just as good, if not better!!)

Hey Gemma, I forgot to mention that I really like the new picture.

Ya know what? One of these days he is going to realize what he lost......the beauty of you is not only inside, but outside as well.

Gem, is that your scrambled egg hair?

I love the feeling in this poem. Both of memory, and of getting on with your life.

Well theres plenty more where he came from...but, I know,  we yearn for the ones we grow familiar with...but when they decide to go what else can we do but miss the good parts and look for another...James

Thankyou again. You little sweethearts.

and liz? I am not photogenic! I had to find another one of me smiling, with my scrambbled egg hair, well laughing, so you don't worry that i'm crying all the time. believe me, i look like a hamster on most photos. and not a nice one.

and, i loooove that photo of you, its so innocent and natural, just doing yer hair, i like it, so dont get rid!!!!

Instant karma's gonna get you.
