This was written yesterday at work for a friend of mine. Hope you enjoy.
Love Bon-Bon

Shy Lady

Moonlight streaks across trembling hands.
Fingertips touching, tears of uncertainty.
She is like a tender willow being blown
into the winds of a swirling hurricane.
In her despair
she is cast into uncharted waters
not knowing the destiny
of her now saddened life.
Her sheltering light
taken away leaving this shy lady in total darkness.
In this darkness,
a loving hand offering friendship reaches out
into the shadows of confusion.
Timid and shy,
she is hesitant of this friendly hand.
Shyly she takes the hand of friendship
and begins walking
with wide eyed anticipation and innocence.
This shy lady beginning her new journey
down the lighted path of life
and
her exciting, adventurous destiny.

BonBon, this is so pretty. Was your friend at work
the one who was so shy? Sometimes people are so shy
life is really difficult for them. I'm glad that you
are there for her.
Hugs to you and your friend
Ethel

Thanks all for the lovely replies.
Garysgirl: Yes this lady is a friedn of mine at work. She has had to learn alot in the last four years. Married at 18 going from the protection of parents to a husband who watched out for her. Then four yrs. ago her husband died after 45 or so years of marriage. No parents or family, left on her own.She had to learn to drive, learn the city, deal with the death of her husband, take over household problems, not knowing who to call. Then a few months ago a gentleman held out his hand in friendship. She's afraid, happy and excited, unsure all emotions we all go through. So I wrote this for her with a beautiful bouquet of roses as decoration. I gave it to her today and she sat down and cried for she thought it was so beautiful.
Will talk to you all later.
Love Bon-Bon
