Visiting Earth on a Guest Pass

Whipping and thrashing,
he blindly evades my hand.
Why do I persist,
toss him still wildly flailing
into the wet, saving grass?

There's a subtle message in this one, and it hit me the second time I read.  By human nature, we tend to writhe against intervening powers, when the end result can be salvation.  Enjoyed this read...~S~

You forgot to explain to him that you weren't planning a fishing expedition. *G*

I like this very much, my friend... like it even more that you're the type of man to persist in acts of kindness. *S*

I've lost count of the number of times I've stopped to help a terrapin across the road... lost count also of the times I've hightailed it back to safety when the harmless terrapin turned out to be a turtle with an attitude! LOL

And yassee... I've done it again... you write so much in so few words... I write so little in many. *G* Excellent work! *S*

Was that a lucky fish, or just too smalkl for you to keep?? LOL

Just kidding. I sure do like to eat them, though, don't you?
